7 degrees farenheit

Elders Anderson and Finch went with us to the Pochta (post office) to translate, and on our way back we stopped by the river bridge.  The people were taking shortcuts across the frozen water.  We couldn't tell if our numb faces were smiling or not!

-14° C. It was not as cold in Salzburg so far. Only in the mountains /durring skiing). There are some frozen ponds in Salzburg ... ice skating.

Hi, All. Thanks for the comments. Of course, we don't mind you using our picture. It gets this cold in Cache Valley, but we don't go out walking in it when we're home. : )

I found your blog through the blog of Liz Stanley. I served in Yekaterinburg more than 3 years ago and walked in many of the places you now walk.
I love and miss Russia everyday.
Best wishes.
