Finland

Our visa trip to Finland was brief, which is ideal for missionaries. We and the Palmers went to the Temple(and once again saw Elder Tim Groberg). Because our flight was delayed, we had an extra day in Helsinki and saw a few sights. Besides downtown, we went to a wooded island where historic Finnish homes and barns have been moved from throughout the country.

(Now we're back in the office and catching up on work, so we don't have time to post much.)

Finland is beautful-not just in your pictures, but Eric has told me as well. I bet that trip to the temple was the best too! How will it be when you come home and live only 20 min from the temple!? :)

On a different note, I have had a hard time finding a nativity to send that isn't too costly or BIG. But I'm hoping to find one today to send!

XXOO Love you guys,
Christina

Eric is right. We love the Temple. The Russian Saints especially love going there and try to get there at least once a year. We'll email you about the Nativity.

Christina,

THANK YOU for going to the trouble of sending a Nativity. Just a reminder: DON'T send anything insured or with specialty mailing. Just Priority with the usual customs slip. No special tracking. We hope it isn't too much for any of you. Love you all!

I LOVE FINLAND!!!
I was fortunate enough to travel there twice from Moscow. However each time I went I was there in the summer and so I didn't get to experience the Holiday season and culture of Finland. Good to see you had a great time!!
