Today's the day with the least daylight. We're "home" from Kazakhstan now. We'll give details and pictures soon.

"My little Stonehenge"
On the shortest day of the year the sun is standing so low, that the sunrays fall through the window of our sitting room, penetrate the keyhole of the closed sitting room door opposite the window and produce a litte spot on the wall of the hall. Unfortunately this year the weather was bad, but in other years I plotted the line of the sun dot. Well, the little grandkids were surprised because grandpa "wrote" on the walls with a pencile.
We are Elder and Sister McEvoy, missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in the Russia Yekaterinburg Mission. We're posting for our children, grandchildren and friends to share our testimonies of Jesus Christ and his Restored Gospel, and to share our mission experiences. We love being in Russia and we love the wonderful Russian people.

Wow you were quick!
What great news that you made it back. We've been praying for you :) Love to you both!
Maybe yopu will remember from your time in Alaska but the days get longer noticably fast. I liked that.
