Mostly, we just guess. Our first time using an oven we baked at 175 degrees to get 350.

BAKING OR SWIMMING:
I like to go swimming: 68° F (20° C)is the minimum water temperature for me to go swimming (without a wetsuit). 77° F (25° C) is the optimal or ideal temperature (for me) to go swimming. Those are my key-terperatures whenever I am in the United States! In Austria we have centigrades.
We are Elder and Sister McEvoy, missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in the Russia Yekaterinburg Mission. We're posting for our children, grandchildren and friends to share our testimonies of Jesus Christ and his Restored Gospel, and to share our mission experiences. We love being in Russia and we love the wonderful Russian people.

F-32/9*5=C
77° F - 32 = 45 /9 =5*5 = 25° C
1° C = 1.8° F
PS: There is one nice thing, which is may be useful in Russia in the wintertime:
-40° F = -40° C
No need to convert in this case!
Kaibert, That's good news about the 40 degrees. One measurement we'll be able to remember. We just hope we won't need to know it too often!
